Abstract
The intensity and prevalence of dental caries and periodontal diseases during pregnancy and the need for dental care increases (50-78.7%). And at the same time, the level of knowledge among pregnant women on the prevention of dental diseases remains low.The article presents data on the results of a survey of 89 pregnant women of the Clinical Maternity Hospital No. 2, FMC No.1, 2 and registered in the Clinical Hospital of the Office of the President and Government of the Kyrgyz Republic (GUKBUDPiP KR). The results showed that they have a low level of awareness about the subjects and means of oral hygiene, as well as practically no motivation to preserve dental health.
