Abstract
The article is devoted to an experimental study of the influence of the developed complex orthodontic treatment method for dentoalveolar abnormalities on blood coagulation parameters in animals. The aim of the study was to determine whether physico-pharmacological preparation of the alveolar process, the active period of appliance-based orthodontic treatment, and the retention period with calcium lactate magnetophoresis affect the haemostasis system. The study material included 40 chinchilla rabbits divided into control and experimental groups. The research used magnetophoresis of a 4% Trilon B solution, orthodontic appliances with an expansion screw, as well as magnetophoresis of a 5% calcium lactate solution during the retention period with the use of alternating and constant magnetic fields. Blood coagulation was recorded by coagulographic method at different observation periods. It was established that the developed complex treatment method did not exert a pathological effect on blood coagulation, although it was accompanied by certain dynamic changes in some indicators at different stages of the retention period. It was concluded that the proposed method can be used in clinical practice for the treatment of dentoalveolar abnormalities.
