Abstract

The article presents a systematic review of the literature on the methods of treating purulent wounds using active drainage. Comparative characteristics of various types of drainage, differing in the mechanism of drainage action, have been carried out. The main approaches to the selection of the most effective methods of drainage of purulent wounds are highlighted.
