Abstract
To date, the problem of anesthesia during surgical dental interventions is one of the important issues of practical dentistry. The aim of the study was an economic assessment of the use of variants of suggestive methods of psychotherapy when performing tooth extraction surgery in patients with periodontitis. To assess the pharmacoeconomical effectiveness, two groups were formed: the main group consisted of 41 patients who had a tooth extraction operation performed using hypnosuggestive anesthesia techniques. The compared group consisted of 36 patients who had a tooth extraction operation performed using local anesthesia methods. The medicoeconomical efficiency was 1.3 times.
