Жоон ичегинин оорулары калктын оорулуулугу жана өлүм-житими түзүмүндө олуттуу орунду ээлеп, алардын жогорку медициналык жана социалдык маанисин шарттайт. XXI кылымдын башынан тартып колоректалдык патологиянын таралышынын өсүшү, ошондой эле бейтаптардын жаш курактык түзүмүнүн жаш топтор тарапка жылышы байкалган. Бул жагдайлар аталган оорулардын өнүгүшүнө таасир этүүчү факторлорду жана алардын алдын алуу жолдорун талдоонун актуалдуулугун күчөткөн. Бул обзордук иштин максаты жоон ичегинин негизги ооруларынын коркунуч факторлору жана алардын оорулук жүгүн азайтуу чаралары боюнча заманбап илимий маалыматтарды жалпылоо жана системалаштыруу болгон.
